I fell in love with the back of this dress first - I was never a fan of buttons or the corset ties, and the material that comes around the waist and then down the back was so pretty and flattering. I left the material down during the ceremony, but then tied it in a loose bow during the reception when the dress was bustled, which made the bustle look very pretty and was comfortable to walk around and dance in.
Once I tried the dress on, I knew it was mine! The A line shape was extremely flattering, and although I had seen lots of lace dresses this one was unique because of the material around the waist and down the back, which looks different than the belts that everyone seems to be wearing these days. There was just a little bling, which allowed for lots of jewelry choices.
I loved that the dress was simple and elegant, it fit perfectly with our location. It fit perfectly, I didn't need to get any alterations.
